FEATURES Calibrated for the specific anaesthetic drug. Calibrated 0.25 to 5% (Sevoflurane 8%) using a "Laser Refractometer" Temperature, flow and duration of use compensation. Safety lock to help prevent accidental turn-on of dial. SPECIFICATION Calibrated at 21 deg C and 35 deg C +/- 1 deg C. Calibration range: 0.25% - 0.5% through 5% (Sevoflurane 8%)v.v. Fluctuations in temperature, flow rate and duration of use is automatically compensated for during use. When used with I.P.P.V the variation in output is negligible. Nominal Working Range : Fresh gas flow - 200 cc to 15 litre/min. Ambient temperature - 15 deg C to 40 deg C. Resistance to Gas Flow: 5 cm wg. at "OFF" setting at 5 litre/min oxygen. 21-29 cm wg. when delivering vapour in 5 litre/min oxygen at 21oC. Liquid Capacity: Amount of anaesthetic drug to fully charge the vaporiser - 200ml Amount retained by the wick system - 55ml. Weight & Dimensions: (Screw fill) Weight 7.0 kg. Height 200mm Depth 200mm Width 120mm Service Options Option 1. Planned Preventative Maintenance - Once every 3 years the vaporiser should be returned for service incl calibration check Option 2. After the first 3 years from new, check calibration. Then check the calibration once every following 6 months. If the calibration shows evidence of deterioration, the vaporiser should be returned for service. This requires records to be kept for tracking.
